Visited the petting zoo for our first time. Took my two granddaughters whom had a really awesome experience with all the friendly animals. My granddaughter is really enjoyed feeding the animals so if you're going with kids be prepared to purchase greens and goods that are offered for feeding the farm animals.We had the best time interacting and feeding the animals ranging from cows,tortoises,goats, chickens piglets,pigs,turkeys ,horses and donkeys. We will definitely be returning to One of a Kind petting zoo!! And the staff were very helpful as well. Thank you bunches for a wonderful experience.

PROs: Great location. Plenty of parking. Good place to visit on a 'spur of the moment' and for a good cause. Just like our pets, these farm animals also need love and attention and FOOD! Reasonable prices for entry fee and feed, discounts provided on special occasions. Great family/caretakers. There is a wash station across the way from the cashier area.
CONs: Don't wear your nice clothes or hat. The animals run free, so mind your children please don't let them scream throughout the petting zoo the whole time.

Our group really enjoyed getting to pet and get close to all the animals. They have pot belly pigs, goats, cows, sheep, tortoise, donkeys, horses, turkeys, and chickens. You can purchase food to feed them. Not much walking involved but there is a few stairs to enter different sections. Heads up that the pigs like to chew at your shoes and untie your laces. Over all fun experience for the kids and adults alike if you are an animal lover.

We had a great time here today! Loved exposing my kids to farm life. The animals are mostly very sweet but can get excited when you have food. Yes it's a little dirty but it's a farm. Put on your rubber boots and get over yourself. Love that they rescue animals. They all looked well cared for and loved.

Just went today with three of my kids. We had fun. There was a lady there that helped my son hold a baby pig and everyone with pretty nice. The only downside is it’s very small. I probably wouldn’t come back just because of that. But I think it’s good for a one time visit. If I had taken all six of my kids I would not have wanted to spend the money for how small it was.

Today we went on an adventure. Not to sure what we were expecting but this place is AMAZING. The staff was so friendly and let my daughter hold the bunnies. They were her favorite part. The cows and horses were so sweet and mellow. All of the little baby piglets were so cute. Not to mention how much fun we had feeding the goats and sheep. This is a MUST SEE. I visited about 2 months ago. It was sweet and the people running the farm are kind. However, I have to agree with a lot of these reviews that the animals are very good aggressive. I was even scared of walking back over to most of the animals. We didn’t even enter the goat area because all the animals in there and around us where hitting and attacking for any food. I appreciate that they take care of these animals well and they had good living areas, however I can’t recommend it because of the aggression. If you have kids, be wary. The horse and cow chased us when trying to leave. We had to run to the stairs. It was not the best experience

I love this little quaint petting zoo! Little piggies were wandering around and got a taste of my leg to my surprise. It was hilarious. Animals were pretty docile while we were there. Always take precaution if you have kids with you despite how friendly all the animals are. Will come back with family/friends. I think the price is reasonable for what you get!

Definitely recommend coming here! Owners are so very nice and informative. They make you feel at home right off the get go. This farm is the owners home which makes it so homey when you get there. You have the option to feed them through the fence or you can let them jump all over you and have fun by going inside and feeding them which is what we did:) Prices for tickets and food are MORE THAN AFFORDABLE!! Thank you guys so much, we will see you guys again!

Visited yesterday, and I have to say this was the most disgusting "petting zoo" I have ever seen. I understand that goats, chickens, pigs, etc, can be dirty, but this place takes the cake. The 2 horses had sores on their skin, the animals had green water to drink from, the turkeys were frail and thin, and the animal waste was everywhere! Please clean up and provide these animals with some sort of decent living conditions.

Super cute experience. Brought my 2 year old son and enjoyed the freedom to roam and the atmosphere. We were greeted by some pretty great little farm hands and were pleasantly surprised at their involvement for their age.
I really wish we could have pet and held the rabbits since my son loves them but he got his fix with the pigs and goats.
Watch out for the dino birds! They are hungry and will hunt you down for some kale. We made a game out of leaving trails for the one who followed us.
We spent about 45 minutes but could have stayed hours if our schedule permitted.

I seen a post on here saying it was a bad place , and animals aren’t tookin care of, sounds like Karen’s trying to hate on a place that takes people away from the crazy life of haters, this petting zoo is top of the line and my kids loved it and want to come back again , i do not know these people personally but what I can say from growing up around farm animals especially growing up in buckeye this is the place to be and take your kids . This petting zoo was terrible! This place was nothing like the reviews or the website make it out to be. First thing I saw was a severely emaciated brown horse you could see their bones and the other two horses had very over grown hooves and one of them had a bad limp and had a hard time walking. We drove 45 mins to this place and stayed for maybe 10 mins and it was definitely not worth the drive or the $25 we paid. EDIT: Kind of hard to talk to anyone when nobody is there monitoring any thing. Don’t get mad at people being honest about how it looks when there is no signage or people actually working there to explain things to anyone.

Came here for my birthday with my family, it’s such a wholesome little spot. It’s remote and quiet, the animals are really cute. You can buy baskets of food and walk through each section. It was awesome getting to feed everyone and be up close. If you are an animal lover, you have to check this spot out and pet all the sweet, cute, animals.

Nice afternoon activity with our visitors from the UK. Sweet animals and people and it is kept clean and safe. Lots of babies usually and a cuddly chinchilla. The tortoises are a nice surprise.

This place is no where close to a zoo. The ratings found here are deceiving. The animals are in a very sad condition. This is more like a barn whose owners have classified as a zoo. I don't even think this place have a license to operate. Two horses, two cows, several chickens, 10 goats, and tiny piggis. To make things worse, upon arrival a 12 year old child comes out to charge you $10 per person after you press the ring bell, I wonder why is a minor managing the entrance and not an adult. I say we start by sending the animal control to this establishment and file a report to the city. Then again, take a trip and come up with your own conclusions. Seriously: "owners stop child labor, and take care of the animals. Disgrace and poor establishment conditions."

The pen has 2 cows, 2 horses, a bunch of pot belly piggies, a bunch of chickens, some goats, a couple of small desert turtles, and some turkeys.
If you want to feed the animals, is $8 per cup of salad.
There's no time limit you can stay there as long as you want but, how long can you interact with the same horse?
You can also pet, grab, feed, or talk to the animals as much as you want.
Other than the price, the place if very clean and the owners are very friendly. Even inside the pen you don't have to worry about stepping on poop. There is also a very nice hand-wash station with real soap.

This place is amazing. The animals are so happy. The people are so kind. You can feed them if you want - beware, you will become a target for transactional cuddles!!! 🥰 there are bunnies, a hedgehog, baby chickens and roosters, tortoises, the cutest pigs, and adorable bullying goats who REALLY like carrots!!!

Baby was in the stroller and a pig who looked pregnant walked up and bit his foot so hard we had to leave. It’s nice & bruised now.
The cow almost knocked us down the stairs because she wanted the food we had and we weren’t getting it to her fast enough. We ended up throwing all the food on the ground bc between the cow and the horse, it wasn’t worth it. We went to have something fun to do with the kids, and spent a bit of money just to leave early due the nature of the animals. I understand we enter at our own risk BUT the horses and cows should at least be mild mannered and they weren’t when it comes to food. I think we would have been fine if we didn’t enter with the treats. Couldn’t even let the horses eat out of our hands bc they were just too excited to get what we had.

My daughter loved the petting zoo. She loved petting the Goats and Pigs. She didn't want to stop petting them. She loved hearing the sounds the animals made. She has a puzzle with animals on it. She makes the sound. She heard the cows (moo), chickens, and roosters. With my 2nd daughter, who was in the stroller, the goat loved the stroller.
It was not a bad price at all. Adults are $10 a person and kids under 5 are $5 a person. It is worth the experience.

I went so long ago, but completely forgot to review until my boyfriend and I were talking about going to the zoo and it reminded me of our wonderful trip to this cute family owned farm zoo! We had the nicest, sweetest young Tour and she was so good at showing us around and letting us pet the animals along with educating us about all the little adorable animals that they had for us to see! If you’re looking for a fun little activity to do with you and your family and loved ones, definitely stop by and it’s only a few bucks that I would say it worth spending!

I have been here twice so far and can't wait to go back. The tour guides are amazing, very knowlegeable and it is obvious that they genuinely care about the animals. The tour guides are very patient and understanding of the needs of the visitors, answering all the questions. This would be a great field trip for homeschooled kids, very educational and hands on. All the animals are so sweet and friendly.

What a hidden gem! We visited the petting zoo today and had such an amazing visit! Wonderful family who truly care about their animals and share stories and knowledge on each animal. The horses, cows, pigs, chickens, goats and even a tortoise were such a hit with my almost two year old nephew. Our whole family had such a nice time. Enjoyed our experience so so much. Their twelve year old daughter Karma was amazing! She is quite the businesswoman 😍. Perfect tour guide. Won’t be surprised at all if she runs for president one day lol. We will definitely be back!

today I had the pleasure of accompanying my 20 month old grandson, my daughter, my son who has special needs and my sister to the petting zoo. It was an amazing experience and is truly hands-on. The owners are incredible. They answered questions and gave us fun facts while we were there. I can’t say enough gpod things about our experience. I highly recommend you give it a try.

Such an amazing experience with the kids today! The family that owns the property and hosts is very friendly and knowledgeable about all the animals. You are able to touch and hold them, which we loved! Much more affordable than any other animal attractions near Phoenix. Will definitely be back when we come to visit again!

My grandkids LOVED it. LOTS of animals, all accessible to observe and in most cases if appropriate pet. It was awesome. Notable was the proprietor's agent, a sixth grader named Carma, who helped us, guided us, fetched elusive animals for petting, answered all manner of (probably repetitious) questions knowledgeably and patiently, and perhaps above all clearly cared for the animal and facilities competently and thoroughly. A great way for kids to spend an hour or so getting up close and personal with animals. In short, I guess I'd say that it truly is a One Of A Kind Petting Zoo!

Took the grand daughters there today. Small little place. Was greeting with 3 doggies. Karma came out and greeted and gave us the tour and complete lowdown on everything. She Evan caught Peanut for the girls to pet a mini baby pig. Her knowledge was mind blowing for her age.

There are not enough GREAT things to say about this adorable homestead zoo. Karma was SUCH a great guide and greeted us with a big smile and had SO much knowledge.
My granddaughter isn't always comfortable around animals, but Karma was there to assure her the whole time. Holding animals and letting my almost 3 year old granddaughter pet them and offering to let her hold them.
All the animals, including horses, cows, goats, rams, chickens, turkeys, pigs and piglets, tortoises and bunnies, were more than happy to interact with all of us. And Ellie (the great dane) was front and center through it all.
We look forward to visiting after the babies are born.

My granddaughter isn't always comfortable around animals, but Karma was there to assure her the whole time. Holding animals and letting my almost 3 year old granddaughter pet them and offering to let her hold them.
All the animals, including horses, cows, goats, rams, chickens, turkeys, pigs and piglets, tortoises and bunnies, were more than happy to interact with all of us. And Ellie (the great dane) was front and center through it all.
We look forward to visiting after the babies are born.

We recently had one of a kind petting zoo come to our home for my 3-year-old son's birthday party, and it was such a hit! The animals were absolutely lovely—well-cared-for, friendly, and calm, which made them perfect for young children. The staff was fantastic, too; they were knowledgeable and patient, answering all the kids' questions and ensuring everyone was comfortable around the animals. Fantastic experience! The young man who showed us around gave us tons of information about the animals, and made some great conversation! It was a very comfortable environment and all of the animals are in great shape! We will definitely be back!

Storm and Karma were very helpful, kind and knowledgeable about their animals. We took our grandkids there today 2 years old and 4 years old. They loved interacting with the animals. They were able to hold the baby pigs, feed the bunny, horses, goats, calves, and dessert tortoise loved the celery. I was like experiencing life on the farm. We stopped at Aldi to get some carrots, celery, and apples. We will definitely be back... probably tomorrow. Thank you for starting this one of a kind petting zoo! The best by far petting zoo! I recommend them if you have a party! Us adults had a blast too!

My son ( 3 yo) has been wanting to see and meet a cow for a while now. Found this petting zoo off Google and he headed over. He had such a good time and was way better behaved then I thought he would have been ( he loves to run). They had 2, 7 month old Holstein ( I believe) cows, 3 horses, 5 turtles ranging in sizes, a few baby pigs that where adorable, 1 sheep, lots of very friend goats, chickens, 3 bunnies (?), turkey & I think 1 smaller bit belly pig. Now I will say I grew up around animals and they where all well behaved around my
Son. And I am not usually a goat person but these guys rubbed off on me. There was a lighter tan one I think ( hope) her name is Taffy but a lot of others too. They genuinely wanted to say hi and not just bother you for food. I came on a week day so I'm not sure how much things vary from weekday to week end. Also I believe the owner's son walked around with us and talked about the animals, what their names where, what kind or age, his favorite exc. I liked that a lot felt like a personable tour kinda thing. My son and I had a great time and will be going back again soon!

We had the sweetest girl Carma toured us around the petting zoo and introduced us to all of her animals. The animals are super sweet and love visitors. They are well loved and cared for here. If you are in the area, definitely check it out!

What a great experience we had today! Today seemed like a good day to go hug a cow (lol) so after googling cows nearby, we found one of a kind petting zoo. This family owned and operated micro zoo was so friendly and welcoming to come in and pet all the animals, horses, cows, goats, chickens, turkeys, pigs and piglets, tortoises and more. Some are rescued and have a safe home now. Great little family trip for anyone looking to get out and be one with nature . They also do petting zoo parties. Highly recommend. Donation accepted to help feed and care for the animals.

I am in love with this place! All of the animals are so sweet and happy and just get to roam around within the enclosure with you. It’s heaven! My toddler had his first real life animal experience here and it was wonderful! It was so cool to see him light up when seeing the animals that he sees in his farm books. I loved loving on these sweet animals too. And the owners are so kind and God’s favor and love radiates from this place!

We took our grandchildren to the petting zoo today. They had so much fun! Carma was the best tour guide, telling us the animals’ names and ages. She took some pictures for us and brought the small animals over for the kids to hold!😃❤️

My toddler and I went today early afternoon and Storm was so welcoming and friendly. He answered all the questions I had and we loved hearing about the animals. My son was a little timid to roam by himself as he is pretty much eye level with most of the animals. It meant so much to me that Storm took the time to bring some animals to his level as I was holding him. Such a great experience, we will definitely be back. Also, bought some eggs we can’t wait to try in the morning.

I went this Saturday 10/12/24 and it was the best decision. One of A Kind Petting Zoo is outstanding! The host is amazing, she walked us around and introduced us to the animals and told us their stories and was so welcoming. She left us alone for a bit to just soak in the beautiful animals and would come back to talk to us and let us hold the baby chicks and pigs. They have a deal going on where you can pay to paint and carve pumpkins as well as enjoy the animals and it was such a fun experience. I legitimately wish I could be there everyday with how amazing not only the animals were but our host too. It is definitely worth every penny and you should go see for yourself.

Took my daughter today during her not so fall break. She had an amazing time and was able to interact with a cows, goats, plus and a rooster .Lots of friendly goats there ! We were even able to hold some baby pigs 😍.Storm was a great guide!

We decided as a family spontaneously to adventure out to this petting zoo today and so very glad we did. Karma, was our tour guide and she was incredibly knowledgeable about the animals. We saw horses, chickens, roosters, hens, goats, pigs, ram, rabbits, turkey, and a tortoise. The animals were all so sweet and great with my 10 1/2 month old son. It made my mama heart so happy that my son could experience these animals up close. We will definitely be back.

Such a fun experience ! The family is very sweet and are excited to show you their animals. They have tortoise, different breeds of chickens, pigs, goats, rams,rabbits, horses even a Turducken! My two year old loved the experience ! Animals are very friendly and adorable. My daughter didnt want to leave. Don't forget to get some fresh eggs! We will be back.

amazing! me and my partner went as a detour and the owners are so wonderful and kind!! all the animals were super nice and beautifully kept, they were super friendly. I will definitely be coming back, i strongly reccomend for all animal lovers to head over there for a look!! i only happened to take pictures of the baby goats lol but there were horses and pigs, turkeys, chickens and the family's beautiful great dane:)
